Vaish College of Engineering Campus Security Department is committed in providing a safe and secure environment for all students, staff and visitors by establishing a peaceful learning atmosphere where all people can attend safely and without fear. We are also committed to developing and exploring new and innovative ways to achieve our goals in providing a safer environment. We strive to provide the college community with outstanding customer service while balancing the enforcement of the policies and procedures that we are charged to uphold.
One of the primary objectives of the Campus Security Department is to make the campus secure for students, staff and visitors. Campus security officers patrol the college campus including the parking lots. Campus security officers wear blue shirts with yellow security lettering as uniforms and while on evening patrol, the officers carry flashlights at all times. The officers also carry mobiles phones which give them instant communication with the local police. Among other duties Security is also responsible for parking enforcement on campus.

CCTV Monitoring
The purpose of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is to monitor and record on campus for the purposes of safety and security. This policy applies to all personnel and property of the College in the use of CCTV monitoring and recording.
- Campus Safety and Security is committed to enhancing the quality of life of the campus community by integrating the best practices of the campus safety with the state of the art technology. A critical component of a comprehensive security program is the use of CCTV.
- CCTV monitoring is used in public areas by Security and Campus Safety to deter crime and to assist in protecting the college community and property.
- Information obtained via CCTV monitoring will be used exclusively for security and law enforcement purposes.
- CCTV monitoring of public areas for security purposes will be conducted in a manner consistent with existing College policies, including Non-Discrimination Policy, the Sexual Harassment Policy, and other relevant policies.
